Kestrel Heights School, a public charter school, currently educates children grades K-12. Located minutes from RTP, Kestrel Heights School has been in existence for over 14 years and is now over a 1000 students, K-12.  Waiting lists are common at most grades.  KHS is accessible to anyone living in the Triangle.

Qualifications:

[or eligible to hold NC Teaching Licensure]

Preferred
Prior successful teaching experience
North Carolina Licensure

Term:
10 Months

Position Available:

Performance Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize the Core Knowledge Curriculum
  2. Work in a Professional Learning Community
  3. Collaborate with EC staff and school specialists
  4. Make growth according to the NC Teacher Effectiveness Evaluation
  5. Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:
Physical and emotional ability and dexterity to perform required work and move about as
needed in a fast-pace, high-intensive work environment.
